#MotivationMonday! No equipment HIIT IT! interval to SKYROCKET your metabolism!

I LOVE High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) because it gives you an effective and intense workout in the shortest amount of time possible! All you need is some space, your own bodyweight and 5-10 minutes. This is my favorite workout to do in my living room or outdoors when I'm short on time and need to squeeze in a quick and powerful workout. It will leave you dripping with sweat and energized for your day! My HIIT IT! class in NYC follows this pattern. Perform one or both intervals!

HIIT IT! Interval 1- 5 Minutes

20 seconds jump squats

Rest 10 seconds

20 seconds of burpees with pushups

Rest 10 seconds

Repeat for a total of 4 rounds. 

Follow with one minute of bicycle crunches.

HIIT IT! Interval 2- 5 Minutes

20 second plank

Rest 10 seconds

20 seconds of jump lunges

Rest 10 seconds

Repeat for a total of 4 rounds. 

Follow with one minute of bicycle crunches.

I tore my ACL during a soccer game two months ago and had ACL repair surgery a week ago! What life lessons I have learned through this! One being I need to be able to run my business while rehabbing an injury. I'm at home recuperating from surgery, but I can STILL TRAIN CLIENTS thanks to LIFT! A Brand New Look for HIIT IT!

TADA! Four months in the making and my logo is finally complete. I've been meeting with my designer/brand manager since May. MAY! After many late night brainstorming sessions, cross country phone conferences, hundreds of revisions and hours of time spent at a coffee shop on our laptops... my HIIT IT! logo is finally complete. Orange for energy, a flame icon to represent torching through body fat/calories and feeling the burn in the muscles and a clean, elegant, streamlined and contemporary font that still goes POW! I love it and hope you do, too!
